Who We Are

The Foundation for the Advancement of Human Systems (FAHS) is a new entity that was birthed from a call to action to build healthy relationships for individuals, couples, families, and communities. The Foundation for the Advancement of Human Systems (FAHS) exists to fund research focusing on healthy and strong human systems – individuals, couples, families and communities.

Much of the earlier work in the field of systemic (and relational) therapy was accomplished by the AAMFT Research & Education Foundation which was established in 1947, and was an aligned partner of AAMFT.
