Mr. Lowery, serves as COO of the Foundation for the Advancement of Human Systems (FAHS) based in Alexandria, VA, where he oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Foundation and its programs and identify strategic initiatives. Previously, Mr. Lowery, Mr. Lowery has a formal background and training in Public Health, Health Policy and Management, Analytics, Finance, and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion). Additionally, as a Software Engineer, Mr. Lowery helps to engage BIPOC with technology and career development. Mr. Lowery, serves the greater community in his role as an ordained Senior Pastor, non-profit board member, mentor, coach, career-coach, and author, serving the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Ms. Horn is the Foundation Manager for the Foundation for the Advancement of Human Systems (FAHS), where she manages the Foundation's day-to-day operations. Ms. Horn began working at AAMFT in 2017 as the Program Assistant for the Minority Fellowship Program, later being promoted to Program Specialist. A native of Maryland, Ms. Horn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mr. White began in the role of MFP Program Manager as of September 2022. Corey, now serves as the Associate Director of the MFP. Mr. White is from the Philadelphia region and attended Penn State and Cabrini University for graduate school. As a secondary education teacher and former Public Health technical writer, Mr. White, led teaching cohorts for curriculum development and implementation to improve the learning outcomes of students. Recently married, Mr. White enjoys a physically active routine and is preparing for the 2023 Broad Street Run marathon. Mr. White looks forward to continuing his commitment to the mental, emotional, and social needs of people.

Ms. Coker joined the MFP department in 2021 as the new MFP Program Assistant but was promoted after one year. Ms. Coker is a graduate student of The Chicago Professional School of Psychology studying Clinical Mental Health. Ms. Coker was Born in England until her family decided to move to the states at a young age. Ms. Coker is the former Miss Black Maryland Ambassador in which she shared in empowering women to own their power and celebrate their unique talents, traits and beauty.

Ms. Beck is elated to join the team as the MFP Program Assistant. Originally from Seattle, she moved to Maryland in 2017. Ms. Beck has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Beck is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. While Ms. Beck focuses much of her energy on mental health advocacy, she also has a passion for the arts. Ms. Beck has starred in various musical theatre productions as well as acting as an extra in film and is excited to pursue more performance opportunities in the future. Ms. Beck looks forward to helping others pursue their educational and career goals in the field of mental health.
